About Ordinals Comp

How ORDINALS COMP works: random head-to-head voting, Elo ratings, and a live shared leaderboard across multiple Bitcoin Ordinals collections.

What is this?

ORDINALS COMP is a compare game for Bitcoin Ordinals. Instead of browsing one collection at a time, it pulls two random items, possibly from entirely different collections, and asks one question: which one looks better?

How voting works

Click the item you think looks better. Your pick is recorded, its rating goes up, the loser’s goes down, and a fresh random matchup loads. Not sure? Skip to get a new pair without voting.

The rating system

Every item starts on equal footing and is ranked with an Elo rating, the same system used in chess. After each vote both ratings shift by how expected the result was: a favourite gains a little, an underdog that wins an upset gains more. Over many votes the ratings settle into a genuine ranking of what the crowd prefers.

Leaderboard and stats

The leaderboard shows individual item rankings (filterable by collection), collection-level rankings with average rating and floor price, and head-to-head collection matchups built from real voting data.

Why cross-collection?

Comparing within one collection only tells you what is rare. Pairing items across completely different collections at random shows what actually looks good, independent of project or hype.

It’s shared

Every vote from every visitor updates the same live leaderboard. There is no login and no per-browser data. Every item and collection links back to the marketplace it lives on.

Public API

A read-only, key-gated API exposes item and collection leaderboards, collection matchup rates and single-item ranks for anyone who wants to use ORDINALS COMP data in their own tool.
